SXSW 2025, COMMUNITY VOTING
I need your help!
Dear readers,
For the second year in a row, I want to highlight our community on the prestigeous stage of SXSW.
South by South West is the world’s biggest tech, music, and movie conference in the world, and takes place in Austin, TX every march. Last year, thanks to the community’s support with votes, I was able to sit on that stage and speak about the creative renaissance enabled by new technologies.
We want to run it back, this time discussing new ways for creators like me to build communities, just like this one. However, I need your help with voting for my panel submission!
Please vote here: https://panelpicker.sxsw.com/vote/149597
On the stage, I will be joined by Tony Parisi (tech pioneer and musician), Josh Savage (musician and dear friend) and Sam Haveson (Head of Community at Patreon, whom I met at SXSW last year.
We will be speaking about communities like ours. It’s important to keep spreading the word so that more and more people can join and finally find creative freedom and the people that feel aligned with.
I hope you’re not letting August burn you out. It’s just August, it will pass.
I am still here, not going anywhere, and already looking forward to the next year.
At BTC Nashville
Soon I will be announcing my new tour dates. As of right now, it appears that across September and October, I will be playing multiple shows across 3 continents. I really hope that I can see you at one of them.
I am also preparing for some pretty big moves that I can’t wait to reveal. It’s been a year in the works. It’s anticipating to be a massive move that I hope will create a domino effect that we’ve never seen before. I can’t say anymore.
But just know, and if you’ve gotten to know me a bit by know you do know, that whenever I want to do something, I will. And I will bring you all with me.
Leaving you with today’s album recommendation:
“Foreverly” by Billie Joe Armstrong & Norah Jones. One of my favorite albums ever.
Til next week,
Violetta
