A Song, a prophecy.

Dear Moonshooters,

I’ve been reflecting a lot lately, especially after my trip to New York last week (which I shared with you all in the Discord). Some of the most important meetings of my career are taking place right now, and I wanted to share a little more about something that has been a big part of this journey — the songs that have guided me through it.

It’s strange how life and music often seem intertwined. For me, it feels like the songs I write somehow predict the path that I’ll walk. Sometimes, I don’t write songs about things that happen to me; instead, I write songs, and then those very things begin to unfold in real life. I find myself looking back at my back catalogue and realizing how much of what I’ve written has mirrored what I’m going through now.

In fact, some of the most significant parts of this current project were mentioned years ago, in the lyrics of songs I created before I had any idea they’d become a blueprint for where I am now. It almost feels like the music was my subconscious way of mapping out this journey, long before I even knew how to connect the dots.

As Bob Dylan once said, “A lot of my songs are like a time machine. They don’t make any sense at the time but later on they’re like prophecies.” It's wild to think that the songs I've written may have been glimpses into the future, and now I’m living those very moments.

Kurt Cobain also expressed a similar feeling: “I have a tendency to write about things that later happen, but it’s not intentional. It’s just part of being a songwriter.” I couldn’t have said it better myself. The strange and magical part of songwriting is how it captures moments in time that sometimes feel like they haven’t happened yet.

If you’ve been following me for a while, you know that I pour my heart and soul into my music, and I make it a point to share pieces of my journey through it. From Moonshot to Another Life, and now with this new project — everything is woven together.

I challenge you to dig through my past songs. See if you can connect the dots and find those hidden pieces that are all coming together now in a way that feels like fate. 👀
